Surrender is a series of abstract book covers about quiet adaptation and the body’s surrender to reality. The project began with a formal study of a saxophone, which I photographed and broke down into geometric fragments. This research later shifted into folded human figures, fractured lines, and a restrained black-and-white visual language.
Form Research
The process started with photographing and deconstructing a saxophone into geometric fragments. These studies later became the foundation for a visual language based on folding, compression, and broken lines.
Sketches
Early sketches explored how the body could fold into itself, gradually shifting from a human figure into a more abstract and geometric composition.
